Smart Travel Enrollment Program

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) - provided by the US government, this program sends text alerts to parents and students if the State department needs to make contact with US citizens. It also alerts the US Ambassadors in the locations that we are traveling. GSWLA teachers will be participating in this program and it is recommended that students and parents participate as well. This list is a general list of items that you can consider taking with you. Keep in mind that 50 lbs is the maximum for your checked luggage (unless you are traveling in China where it is 40 lbs.). It is important to leave the United States UNDER weight.
